the use of wooden beams creates a thrust and a traction of the space that is open to the outside
The Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto designed a wooden bungalow, small and primitive. the design is designed to highlight the versatility of lumber. using large, square-profile Cedar beams of 350 mm, the pieces are stacked on top of each other, creating walls, ceilings, floors and nooks. This leaves no definitive lines between each of the components of the structure, thus mixing the entire interior of the space. the function of the small house is defined by the way the user adapts to the wooden structure. the House is supposed to bring a kind of harmony between the built environment and the behavior of the human body in space.
